The City Gate Mater Private Hospital is one of Europe’s most modern and up to date private hospitals, employing some of Cork’s leading consultants.

CSR was retained as part of a client-led Project Team to provide planning advice and reports with specialist inputs with respect to planning strategy and application contents for the change of use from an office and retail showroom facility to a private medical clinic facility.

The facility was to provide a 102 bed inpatient private medical clinic, a six bed intensive care unit, a 15 bed day unit, various treatment and imaging facilities, four operating theatres, recovery area and staff areas.
