Callum is a Town Planner at Cunnane Stratton Reynolds, having joined the company in 2023 after completing a Master’s in Planning and Sustainable Development (MPlan) at University College Cork, where he also earned his BA (Hons) in Geography and Economics.
Since joining CSR, Callum has gained hands-on experience across a wide range of public and private sector projects in Ireland and the UK, working on developments in the residential, commercial, infrastructure, retail, and tourism sectors. His role involves supporting projects from initial research and site appraisal through to full planning application submission and post-lodgement coordination.
He has worked on Section 5 applications, pre-planning meetings, planning application submissions, RFI and SFI responses, appeals, compliance submissions, and submissions on County Development Plans and Local Area Plans. Callum also supports the preparation of fee proposals, and planning appraisals, while liaising with clients, statutory bodies, and stakeholders to support project delivery.
Callum regularly prepares planning reports, attends meetings, site visits, and workshops, and coordinates with sub-consultants and multidisciplinary teams. Within CSR, he collaborates closely with in-house landscape architects, urban designers, planning consultants, GIS analysts, and graphic designers to deliver integrated, high-quality planning outcomes. He brings strong analytical skills, clear communication, and a proactive mindset to every project and is committed to continuous professional development.
Callum is a full Graduate Member of the Irish Town Planning Institute (IPI).
